Reports have surfaced indicating that Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen had a solid prenuptial agreement that facilitated their swift divorce settlement.
The former couple, who confirmed their split in October, have an estimated combined net worth of $733 million, which encompasses a $26 million property portfolio and multiple businesses.
A source informed The Post, “There was an iron-clad prenup set down before they married in 2009. They both have their own separate business entities, so the separation of their wealth wasn’t that complicated in the end. The only other major factor was dividing up their massive property portfolio.”
It is reported that Brady, 45, will retain the $17 million mansion currently under construction on the Indian Creek Island in Miami, known as the “billionaire’s bunker,” which they purchased in 2020 and demolished.
It was also revealed that ahead of their divorce, Bündchen quietly purchased her own home in Miami Beach, a modest three-bedroom, three-bathroom pad for $1.25 million. Sources suggest that she will likely use this property as an office and has also acquired another larger home in the area. She will also retain their home on the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica, where she regularly vacations with the kids.
Their extensive property portfolio also includes a home in the Bahamas, another at the exclusive Yellowstone Club in Montana, and a New York City apartment, where Bündchen had been staying amid their split.
While the divorce documents remain confidential, sources indicate that they will share joint custody of their children Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9. Brady also has a 15-year-old son Jack with actress Bridget Moynahan.
Brady’s estimated net worth is up to $333 million, while Bündchen, the world’s highest-paid model, reportedly has her own $400 million fortune.
Last week, after months of living separately, Brady and Bündchen, who wed in February 2009 in a private ceremony in Santa Monica, confirmed their divorce after 13 years of marriage.
The supermodel filed for divorce in Glades County, Fla., last Friday, and the dissolution of their marriage was immediately finalized.
The source added that the terms of the split and the division of their huge property portfolio were already settled before the filing.
