The 45-year-old quarterback has now lost three-straight games for the first time in his 23-year-long career. He is not feared by his opponents anymore. The quarterback looks mortal and is a matchup that most teams in the NFL are looking forward to.
In the last 3 weeks, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers led by Mitchell Trubisky, one of the worst teams in the NFL. To make matters worse, the Bucs lost to the Carolina Panthers, led by P.J. Walker, a quarterback nobody knew was in the NFL until he beat Tom Brady. This week, the GOAT lost to Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.
Tom Brady is having a hard time understanding that his teammates are not built like he is.
The loss against the Baltimore Ravens was an anticipated one as the Buccaneers were underdogs going into the game, nobody expected them to win and the game was a close one with Tampa leading at one point throughout the game, however, the team could not close the game out.
This loss brings into question a lot of things about the quarterback. Tom Brady performed well in today’s game, but he has struggled in the last two weeks. Tonight’s game proved one thing, TB12 having a great game is not the solution to all the Bucs’ woes. The team around him does not seem as competitive and driven as he is. Tom’s performance has convinced fans about one thing: it is time for the quarterback to hang it up and walk away. One fan criticized Tom’s performance, claiming he does not have it in him anymore, “It’s over, Brady is washed.” As hard as it may be to swallow this pill, it does seem to be the case this season.
It is not surprising to see ‘Psycho Tom’ go out there and be the devil for his teammates in the middle of the game. We have seen him yell, cuss out linemen, and remind them constantly that they can do better. But all of his efforts have gone in vain. Tom Brady looks frustrated and in a long time, we have not seen the quarterback in a position like this where he does not know what more he can do to win.
