Faye Resnick.

Is she Black? Is she Hispanic? Is she Middle Eastern? White?? Armenian???? What the fuck is she? The woman has had so much cosmetic surgery that I cannot figure it out. She is from Coscian descent. People from Corica, as well as Sicily, are usually very dark skin due to arab blood mixture.

R1 How do you know that? It isn’t that simple. Show receipts because I heard she’s black.

[quote]are usually very dark skin due to arab blood mixture.

And yet I know full-Arabs who are lighter than she is.

R2 She says she is of Corsican decent. No reason to think she is lying. Do you ask all celebrities to give you an ethnic breakdown? You want a DNA test?

Yes, Arabs run from very pale (Linda Sassour is just a white woman) to very dark. Most people from the Middle East are this way. Some Ashkenazi Jews, like Jazz Jennings are dark, while others like Fran Dresher are light skinned. In Iran, some folks have blond hair, while others have black hair. The middle east was a cross road for a long time, especially before Arab colonialism so lots of different phenotypes.

Not hard to find….

[quote] an October 20, 1994 L.A. Times article stated that Faye's mother was Spanish-Italian and her stepfather German, while Resnick claimed "Italian, Spanish and English, or—to be more precise—I am Corsican, Castilian, and Anglo-Saxon"

As opposed to European colonialism. You clearly have disdain for Arabs in particular,. I happen to be half Arab and I love my heritage.

R5 it only talks about her mother and her step-father. What about her biological father? That is the one who matters.

by Anonymousreply 7July 7, 2021 9:10 AM

Passing!

Regardless of what she says, she's clearly Biracial - Black and White. She may have some other things in her too. She's obviously a self-loathing bitch with a lot of bleaching and plastic surgery to look White and deny her African heritage.

She's pathetic!

R6 No, I have nothing against Arabs. It is just history. Europeans did colonize the Middle East as well, but did not have a huge impact on the genotype and phenotype. Their was mainly governmental rule, not repopulation like Europeans did in the Americas.

The middle east was colonized by Arabs after the death of Mohammed. This included the replacement of many ethnic groups in the region such as Kurds, Berbers, Copts, ect. Then, the Ottomans later on further colonized the area. The arabs also culturally colonized Iran.

If you are proud of being an Arab then at least know the history. Arabs being colonizers doesn’t mean you need to feel personal shame. It just means they, like all people, have good and bad parts of their history.

I think I recall from Dominick Dunne’s OJ book that Faye is a biracial woman from SF who passes as white to fit in with her West LA friend group

by Anonymousreply 11July 7, 2021 12:58 PM

Who cares?

All I know is she is MORALLY CORRUPT!
